Account & Data Deletion

BaySync is workplace software provided by HaulDesk Inc.. Accounts are created and managed by the auto repair shop ("your employer") that subscribes to the Service. This page explains how to delete an account and the associated data.

1. How to Request Deletion

Because accounts are provisioned and managed by your shop, you can have your account and data deleted in either of the following ways:
  • Ask your shop administrator (the owner or manager who manages your shop) to remove your account.
  • Email us at support@baysync.ca from the email address associated with your account, with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We will verify the request with your shop before processing it.

2. What Gets Deleted

When an account deletion request is processed, we delete the personal information associated with that account, including:
  • Your profile information (name, email address, phone number, and profile photo).
  • Your login credentials and access to the Service.
  • Personal time and attendance records, including any location data captured at clock-in, where deletion is not otherwise required to be retained by law.

3. What May Be Retained

Certain business records created in the course of your work — such as repair orders, vehicle service history, and invoices — belong to the shop and may be retained by the shop for its operational, legal, and accounting needs, even after your personal account is deleted. We may also retain limited information where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

4. Timeframe

We process verified deletion requests within 30 days. Backups containing the data are purged on our regular backup rotation.
